Solid Metro North Brings Relief and Hope
As the rains poured and floodwaters rose, Solid Metro North answered the call—not with hesitation, but with heart. United under Oplan Kaagapay, JCI Local Organizations from across Bulacan rallied together to bring warmth, nourishment, and dignity to families impacted by Typhoon Crising and the Habagat monsoon.
In San Rafael, Bulacan, JCI Baliwag Buntal under the leadership of Pres. EJ Cunanan brought more than just food—they brought comfort. Children, parents, lolos, and lolas gathered for warm, freshly prepared meals in Barangay Pulong Bayabas, where the team also conducted kamustahan conversations, offering not just sustenance but also emotional support. It was a simple yet profound act of listening—an assurance to the community that they are not alone in their recovery.
Over in Malolos City, JCI Malolos INC.s led by Pres. Reggie Fajardo carried out their Lingap-Malolenyo Relief Packs initiative with compassion on wheels. Together with friends and family, volunteers loaded up their vehicles and personally took to the streets, house to house, lane to lane—handing out relief goods directly to those who needed them most. The 200 packs, filled with rice, canned goods, noodles, and hygiene essentials, were more than just items—they were reminders of community and care.
In Marilao, the spirit of solidarity flowed with equal strength. JCI Marilaw led by Pres. Gelo Duran, joined hands with JCI Marilao Marilag and JCI Marikina Sapatos for Project S.A.V.E., reaching out to flood-affected families in Poblacion 1 & 2 and Ibayo, Marilao. Soaked from the rain but undeterred, these servant leaders distributed hot meals and relief packages, driven by a mission greater than the storm.
From Baliwag to Malolos, from the floodplains of Marilao to the drenched streets of San Rafael—Solid Metro North has proven that when disaster strikes, compassion rises.
Each pack handed, each hot meal served, and each handheld in the rain is a testament to the unwavering resolve of young leaders driven by purpose.
And the story isn’t over. Across the Metro Area, more Jaycees are stepping up.
Together, we don’t just deliver aid—we deliver hope.
