MORE HEARTS, MORE HANDS

METRO AREA OPLAN KAAGAPAY CONTINUES TO SERVE
As the impact of Typhoons Crising, Dante, Emong, and the Habagat rains continues to be felt, JCI leaders across the Metro Area are stepping up with renewed energy and compassion—proving that service doesn’t stop when the storm starts.
Pres. Rose Ann Garovillas of JCI Baras led a heartfelt kamustahan session with flood victims in evacuation centers, personally checking on their welfare and distributing warm meals to bring comfort in these challenging times.
Pres. Kathrine Ordoñez of JCI MANILEÑA initiated a series of relief operations—providing not only hot meals and essentials but also moments of joy and healing. Through games and interaction with children, her team promoted psychosocial counseling and psychological first aid to help evacuees process the trauma of the recent calamities.
Pres. Anton Santiago of JCI San Juan Pinaglabanan took a hands-on approach by visiting evacuation centers, spearheading relief distributions, forging partnerships, and organizing clothing drives. His team ensured that families received not just aid—but dignity, warmth, and reassurance.
These are more than just relief operations—they are acts of leadership rooted in compassion, resilience, and hope. The efforts of these Local Organizations reflect the core of what it means to be a Jaycee: to lead, to serve, and to uplift.
More Kaagapay stories are unfolding across the Metro Area!
Stay tuned as other LO chapters mobilize and extend help in the coming days.
Let’s stand united. Let’s support. Let’s serve.
Back up your fellow Jaycees—donate, volunteer, and amplify their calls as we continue to be a community of action through OPLAN KAAGAPAY.
