SOLID METRO SOUTH DELIVERS RELIEF WITH HEART UNDER OPLAN KAAGAPAY
Rain-soaked clothes. Flooded streets. Heavy pots steaming with freshly cooked meals. This is the picture of service in action as Solid Metro South, under the leadership of Area Chairperson for Oplan Kaagapay Jayson Gensola, continues to show what it truly means to lead with compassion—no matter the weather, no matter the cost.
JCI Parañaque Pambato under Pres. John Paolo N. Marquez, JCI Parañaque Asinderas led by Pres. Grachel Rita Marie O. Elorde, and JCI JCI Aseana with President Geormina P. Imperial joined hands in a series of hot meal distributions across Barangay Vitalez, Barangay San Dionisio, and Barangay BF Homes in Parañaque City. United by purpose and soaked by the same rains, these leaders didn’t just organize—they showed up. They waded through floodwaters, stood under pouring skies, and cooked with care to ensure that every evacuee was met with warmth, dignity, and nourishment.
Meanwhile, JCI Perlas JCI – Perlas Pasay, led by Pres. Daisy Limbaroc, carried hope to a place too often forgotten—the Sgt. Mariano Cemetery. Amid tombstones and silence, children and their parents gathered for a rare moment of comfort. Hot meals and fresh bread were served not just to fill stomachs, but to remind families that they were seen, heard, and not alone.
These acts may seem small, but their impact is immeasurable. For the ones who had nothing warm to eat or nowhere dry to sleep, these Jaycees became light in the darkest hours.
They stepped into the flood. They braved the storm. They served anyway.
And in doing so, Solid Metro South has become a solid example of unity in service.
