JCI Quezon City Capitol, under the leadership of 2025 Local Organization President Jay Rod Danganan, proudly led the 49th anniversary of Camp Pag-Ibig on February 16, 2025, at Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center. Spearheaded by Philippine Association for Intellectual Disabilities (PAFID) President & JCI Senator Jorge L. Banal Sr., Project Chair Mark Josef Lopez, and Co-Chair Jonathan Rieza, the event provided a meaningful and inclusive space for 1,250 student campers (ages 12 and below) with intellectual disabilities and their families through engaging activities and educational seminars.
Metro Area Vice President Joey “JM” Moyaen joined the celebration alongside JCI Philippines National Executive Vice President Atty. Patrick Maglinao, Metro East Regional Vice President Reginald M. Andal, and co-host chapters: JCI Makati, JCI Malabon, JCI Mandaluyong, JCI Marikina Sapatos, JCI Marikina Marikit, and JCI Quezon City Celebrity.
The event was made possible through the strong support of Hon. Mayor Joy Belmonte and the Quezon City Government, the Department of Education, the Early Childhood Care & Development Council, and the National Council on Disability Affairs. Their commitment to inclusivity and community development played a vital role in ensuring the success of this celebration.
A flagship project since 1976, Camp Pag-Ibig continues to provide an inclusive and nurturing space for children with intellectual disabilities and their families.
