ASDD Heaven Peñaflorida Named 2025–2026 APDC Development Officer

Heaven Peñaflorida of JCI Makati Princess Urduja, the current Area Skills Development Director (ASDD) of JCI Metro Area, added another milestone to her record of service when she was appointed Development Officer of the 2025–2026 JCI Asia Pacific Development Council during the JCI Asia Pacific Conference (ASPAC) held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia on June 12–15, 2025. The appointment crowned a banner week in which she also received the coveted Star Local Member Award and served as Deputy National Chair of the conference.

As ASDD, Peñaflorida spearheads training programs that fuel the Metro Area’s “Drive for Change,” cultivating new JCI trainers and equipping young leaders with the skills to launch high-impact community projects. Her new regional post amplifies that mission, positioning her to guide emerging chapters across the Asia-Pacific while showcasing the leadership pipeline the Metro Area has built.

ASDD Heaven’s multifaceted career—flight attendant, tour guide, real-estate broker, corporate executive, certified JCI Area Trainer, and women’s-empowerment advocate—has long reflected JCI’s ideal of active citizenship. With her latest ASPAC honors and Development Council role, she is set to channel that breadth of experience into helping chapters throughout the region drive meaningful, sustainable change.
